Who Am I?
I am into my 5th decade and as such, I've done a variety of things in my life, like most of us.
When I was 10 I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I answered:
"I want to be an artist and sell my paintings for $1000.00"
I haven't attained that dream yet, but there's still time!
Writings
I explore personal reflections, philosophical conundrums and therapeutic wonderings. Some of my writing is more academic, but generally I'm concerned about discovering the heart and soul of things (whatever that means).
Counselling
I'm a Counsellor working in private practice, offering 1:1 sessions for those who could do with a companion and support through unfamiliar territory.

01. Internal Family Systems
Internal Family Systems (IFS) imagines that we are not just ONE self, but are made of many parts. We see this bare out in our language when we say things like 'a part of me says yes, but another part isn't so sure'. This is a hint at the internal tension that most of us carry within. The IFS approach identifies the parts of us that protect us or manage or plan and works by creating more harmony overall.
02. Hidden Treasure
Life is like a quest for hidden treasure – we often travel a long way and spend a lot of time searching for something that we always had, right here within us. Counselling is a way of helping you find that hidden treasure. It’s not a bad way to explain how I can help – a treasure hunt – where we search together to find what is currently hidden from you.
